Polynesian Cultural Center and he gave us tickets to get inside for a fabulous discount. He was the first Stake President in the Marshall Islands and now he is just finishing his degree at BYU Hawaii. It was great to meet him and talk with his good family.
A little boy saw us on the plane two weeks before when we were first leaving Majuro to go to Hawaii on our way to Tarawa. He made a comment to his mother about seeing the senior missionaries and he looked at our name tags and obviously memorized our names. We were not aware of that little incident at all. Then when we were at the PCC, he saw us again. I can't believe that he recognized us in P-day clothes, sunglasses and hats, but he did and made the comment about the Badgers being here. Elder Moimoi was standing near the little boy and overheard him. He asked him where are the Badgers? He was interested to check it out to see if it could be us. He was really surprised and excited when he found us. I never did see this little boy who helped us have this great reunion.
