MTC

The MTC has been the greatest experience.  We are surrounded by a sea of missionaries and are so impressed with the support and training that we are receiving.  The food is absolutely fabulous and they offer so much to choose from.  It's a good thing that we will only be here another week, or they might have to roll us out of here.  I am amazed at the amount some of these young Elders can tuck away.  I wouldn't have  been so anxious when I sent my boys on missions if I had known how good they have it here.  No wonder that they loved the MTC!
Everyone is so friendly here and where else in the world can you leave your wallet and purse in a room and come back later to find everything untouched.
They are building new Senior apartments here, so there is a lot of construction and many of us got assigned to the Marriott Hotel.  We lucked out to get to stay there; it is gorgeous.  I guess we are getting spoiled here even though we are working very hard.  We have one more week (before we fly out to the Marshall Islands) and we will be training on the Church Computer System (IMOS).
We feel so blessed to be working with other wonderful senior couples that are going all over the world.  What a marvelous support system.  We are so thankful for this opportunity and realize that it is a blessing to us instead of a sacrifice! We hope our children and grandchildren will benefit from reading and hearing about our fantastic journey.
