Pictures of Tarawa

This is a typical little house in Tarawa, however most of the homes have grass type roofs.  Very few actually have walls.

This is the banana lady. She sells them on the side of the road, and  if you are American, they cost a lot more!  I guess they figure we can affort it.

I stopped on the road and asked the fishermen if I could take a picture of their fish; they were very flattered and accommodating.
