We are moving out of our apartment in 8 days when another couple is leaving; we will take their apartment.  We will have to survive in our moldy swamp for that long.  Today after church, we moved the bed to the living room to try to keep the mattress dry.  We have buckets all over the bedroom and kitchen trying to contain the steady drips and streams.  I know it is hard to believe that there is another apartment on top of ours;  it must be a swimming pool up there.  The roof leaks, but they don't address that problem; they just keep replacing the sheet rock in the ceiling upstairs.  They came to tear out out ceilings, but we told them to wait until we moved next door where it is dry.  You wouldn't believe how much it rains here and how hard.  They think nothing of leak, but this is turning out to be a soggy sagging ceiling that we hope holds up for 8 days. Elder Badger says it is just like Chinese Water torture all night.  It is funny that next door doesn't leak.  I guess there is a section of roof that blew off above us, so it is leaking down through two levels of apartments.

We have been thinking all day about Eric baptizing Zoe and Max.  Our thoughts and prayers are very much with you.  This is a big pay day for us!
