General Conference

Elder Badger was able to download all sessions of General Conference so we were able to watch it much sooner this time.  Usually, we have to wait for the DVDs to come, but we enjoyed it early this Spring.  We spent two days in the mission home watching conference and then we fed the missionaries lunch both days.  The senior sisters here were the cooks again.  We planned and cooked food for 40 for both days; it turned out great and we really enjoyed this time with everyone together.
On the 12th of April we had a huge intake of missionaries.
We are now officially bursting at the seams!  We had eight new young missionaries, one new senior couple come to Majuro and we had eight young missionaries come to Tarawa; so it was an increase of 18 missionaries that day.  They just missed our General Conference party, but then they had already watched Conference in the MTC.  The new senior couple, the Wayas' are here now training to do all of the many things that we do in the office.  It takes months to learn the ropes, so now we are in the teaching mode.  Next month Elder Badger and I are supposed to do our mission tour trip to Tarawa.  President Shaw wants us to get to see the rest of the mission.  We work with them remotely, but it will be wonderful to get to visit Tarawa in person.  It is a trip that will also take us through Hawaii and Fiji.  How can we say no to that? So is
Air Marshall (Air Maybe) is flying, we may get to go.
